After getting a football commitment, Kentucky fans always thought that Ugonna was going to commit to Kentucky. And that did in fact happen.
The reclassified five-star center Ugonna Kingsley has committed to Kentucky. He chose the Cats over schools like Oklahoma, Oklahoma St, and Tennessee.
What does Ugonna Kingsley bring to the table?
Ugonna is a seven footer with a 7-foot-5 wingspan. He was arguably the best shot blocker in prep school last year. Will be a dangerous lob threat as his defense is better than his offense but that could change after a year at Kentucky.
Ugonna chose the Cats because he fits the Cats style of play, loves the family culture, and the Cal's ability to develop pros. Kentucky fans will be super happy when this man gets on the court. He will also have a year to learn from NPOY Oscar Tshiebwe.
