SMU star guard Kendric Davis enters the transfer portal on Monday afternoon.
Kendric Davis, a 5-foot-11 point guard from Houston, Texas. He has been one of the best players in college basketball over the past few seasons. Davis averaged 19.4 points, 3.8 rebounds, 4.4 assists, and 1.5 steals this past season for SMU. Davis earned AAC Player of the Year honors.
Davis had multiple 30-plus point effort including a 30 point game in the NIT loss to Washington State and a 33 point game in a win against New Mexico.
Davis will be testing the NBA draft process, but will have many schools interested in him if he decides to come back to college.
