Former Ohio State, Washington, and Steelers QB Dwayne Haskins, has passed away on April 9th, 2022, in a tragic car accident. It has been reported that Haskins, 24, was in Miami training with Mitch Trubisky, who was signed by the Steelers last month to a two-year deal, and allegedly while Haskins was on the road, ran out of gas and exited his vehicle. It was then that he was struck by another car while he was on the side of the road. Details surround his death are still being gathered. Steelers HC Mike Tomlin released this statement; "I am devastated and at a loss for words with the unfortunate passing of Dwayne Haskins. He quickly became part of our Steelers family upon his arrival in Pittsburgh and was one of our hardest workers, both on the field and in our community. Dwayne was a great teammate, but even more so a tremendous friend to so many. I am truly heartbroken. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife, Kalabrya, and his entire family during this difficult time."
