BRITT STRONG - RECRUITING DIRECTOR

@StrongBritt

Today's Q&A is with Jacob Oden, a 2024 CB. The Harper Woods product currently has 9 offers. He has a great size at 6'0 175 for a CB.

Per 247sports.com

Q: How did your season go for your team, and how did you perform?

A: We didn’t do as well as we wanted to we lost our quarterback in the first game and we had a pretty tough schedule and I think I performed pretty well I only allowed one completion as a freshman.

Q: Can you tell me how your day goes, and when you work out and classes, and just stuff you do everyday?

A: I get up in the morning and start class at 7:45 and end at 1:30 then I leave for track practice at 2:30 and we practice from 3:30 to 5 then we have football practice from 5:30 to 6:30.

Q: Can you tell me about your offers, and some schools that are sticking out to you?

A: Really all the schools that have offered me have been really cool, it’s really not some that are sticking out, all of them are cool.

Q: What are your strengths and weaknesses as a CB?

A: I feel like some of my strengths are my press and my technique and my IQ and I’m trying to get better in off man coverage now.

Q: Who do you look up to, and who is your favorite player?

A: I look up to a lot of guys Jalen Ramsey, Jaire Alexander, Derek Stingley, and Eli Ricks. Just to name a few.

Q: I don’t think 2024 have stars yet but when you guys get ranked, what star do you think you will be?

A: I don’t know I’m not really worried about any of that I’m just trying to focus on getting better right now.

Q: Do you have a dream school?

A: No not really I really just like watching every school.

Q: How do you believe your high school coaches will make you better?

A: I think I have a good coaching staff around me that wants the best for me and I know they all know what they’re doing.

Jacob Oden currently holds offers from Cincinnati, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan State, Ole Miss, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, Tennessee, and West Virginia. I am expecting more to come in soon. He is a hard-working kid that will make any coach happy.
