Florida gets two big commitments

Florida started off the day with a commitment from 2023 four-star quarterback Marcus Stokes. The Ponte Vedra Beach, FL recruit chose the Gators like Indiana, Memphis, Pittsburgh, and Utah.

Stokes reminds me of Kenny Pickett. Stokes is a quarterback that is not afraid to take a risk and is a efficient runner. He helped his high school (Nease) go to the regional final by completing 58.9% of his passes, and threw for 2,672 yards with 22 touchdowns.

The second commitment of the day was four-star running back Treyaun Webb. The Jacksonville, FL recruit chose the Gators over schools like Oklahoma, Penn State, South Carolina, and Georgia.

Webb is a crafty runner that can turn corners quick. He is a player that has a great stiff arm, which helps any skill position player. Webb was an obvious priority for the Gators coaching staff and they got him. Today was a success for the Gators and the Florida fan-base.
