Commitment Update (5/26-6/2)
Every week in the recruiting world is always an interesting one. These are the most important commits in the last week.
Starting on May 26th. The ACC picked up two good wide receivers from the class of 2022.
Virginia got the best commit they have got in a while. They picked up 4-star wide receiver Dakota Twitty from Mooresboro, North Carolina. Twitty chose the Cavaliers over NC State, Georgia Tech, UNC, Ole Miss, West Virginia, Yale, and a couple others. Twitty played some defense as well, he had a really good season on offense and defense.
Miami (FL) picked up 3-star wide receiver Quan Lee from Gainesville, Florida. Lee chose the Canes over West Virginia, UCF, Nebraska, Coastal Carolina, and many others. Lee played really well for his high school F.W. Buchholz. Lee had forty-seven catches for one thousand and three yards with twelve touchdowns.
Now we will move on to May 27th. Florida got better at cornerback and Georgia Tech got better at wide receiver.
Florida picked up 4-star cornerback Julian Humphrey from Houston, Texas. Humphrey picked the Gators over Penn State, LSU, Texas A&M, USC, Arizona State, and many others. Humphrey has some of the best speed you can find from a cornerback.
Georgia Tech picked up 3-star wide receiver DJ Moore from Lawrenceville, Georgia. Moore picked the Yellow Jackets over Air Force and Maryland. I would say he is one of the more underrated recruits in all of the class of 2022. I expect him to do big things with Georgia Tech.
USC picks up 3-star wide receiver Kevin Green from Mission Hills, California. Green picked the Trojans over Arizona State, California, Nebraska, Oregon, Penn State, Tennessee, Utah, and a couple others. Green will be back with high school quarterback Miller Moss. Let’s just say, he can put up numbers. I believe Kevin Green will be similar at USC as Michael Pittman Jr.
And finally, Washington picks up 3-star interior offensive lineman Mark Nabou from Seattle, Washington. Nabou picked the Huskies over Arizona State, Nevada, Oregon State, and UNLV. In the long run, this is a great pickup for Washington.
