On Saturday, four-star edge Braylan Shelby announced his commitment to Lincoln Riley and the USC Trojans.
Braylan Shelby commits to the Trojans over schools like Texas, Florida St, Indiana, LSU, Miami, Tennessee, Texas A&M, and Vanderbilt.
What does Braylan bring from the table?
Here is what the guys from On3 Sports said about Braylan Shelby "Physically gifted EDGE prospect with high-end upside. Prototype frame and build for an edge rusher. Looks college ready now as a junior in high school. Athleticism jumps off the screen. Extremely comfortable in space and can run with receivers downfield. Quality bend and flexibility off the edge during pass rush. Totaled 77 tackles, 12 tackles for loss and 8 sacks during his junior season. Solid hand usage and ability to strike his opponent first."
Braylan Shelby joins fellow defensive lineman Amos Talalele, Grant Buckey and linebacker Tackett Curtis. They are likely not done with the front seven. Will be interesting to see who's next to commit to USC.
