49ers sign two wide receivers

The #49ers have signed wide receiver Malik Turner, 26, who played college football at Illinois, and was originally signed by the Seattle #Seahawks in 2018 as an undrafted free agent. In 2020, Turner was signed by the Packers but later released, where he’d be signed by the Dallas Cowboys. During his time with the #Cowboys, Turner racked up 12 catches for 149 yards and three touchdowns. It’s a one year deal for Turner who is trying to find his home in the NFL.

The 49ers also signed receiver Marcus Johnson, 27, who was signed by the Philadelphia #Eagles as an undrafted free agent following the 2016 NFL Draft. It’s a one year deal for him as well, as the 49ers look to add playmakers alongside Deebo Samuel, who is as of now, having contract battles with the team.
